Panorama, BC Mountain Stats
Panorama mountain village is an intimate alpine village in the Canadian Rockies just 2 hours drive south of Banff and surrounded by spectacular scenery. Panorama Mountain Village rises 4,000 vertical feet above true slope-side lodging and giant hot pools, but it's not until you reach the summit that the real scale of the terrain becomes apparent. Below, are trails for skiers and riders of all abilities. You can carve up Canada's longest uninterrupted fall-line groomers, take on the -backcountry style' lines of Taynton Bowl, or fly in the new Showoff Terrain Park. Panorama is known for its immense mountain, but it's the smaller-by-design village that really sets the resort apart. All condos, town homes, and hotel rooms are just a short stroll, or Gondola ride, from dining that ranges from contemporary cuisine to the simplicity of a deli sandwich. You'll have access to the steaming waters of the Panorama Springs pools, Canada's largest slopeside hot tubs.

Expert skiers and riders will enjoy the backcountry style skiing in Taynton Bowl, which offers over 1,000 acres of wide open and naturally gladed chutes, ridges, and valleys. “Until 2001, Taynton Bowl was exclusive territory for rk heliski, and a skier had to shell out a cool grand for the bowl’s 1855 vertical feet of glades, chutes, and gullies. Now for a mere lift ticket and three quad rides, the wind-loaded basin is yours” Evelyn Spence – Skiing Magazine.

Showoff Terrain Park

The main terrain park runs the entire length of Showoff, directly under the Mile One Quad and in full view of the village. Panorama now has the biggest and best terrain park in the Canadian Rockies region.
