Panorama Mountain Resort

Panorama Mountain Resort is an intimate alpine village in the Canadian Rockies and just a two hour drive to Banff.  A new quad chair installed for the 2014/15 season creates access to an area of terrain that has recently been re-worked, landscaped and specifically designed for beginners and young families.  Enjoy almost 3000 acres of terrain ranging from powder bowls, glades, groomed cruisers and parks.  Panorama is renowned for the big ski vertical at 1250 metres. Experience double black diamond tree skiing in the Extreme Dream Zone and also the backcountry-type area in Taynton Bowl.  Much of the terrain is well suited to intermediates with many wide cruising groomers and there are also beginner trails and terrain parks.  The village has been through recent developments but retained its intimate feel.  Ski in/ski out slope-side accommodations are a huge plus and the highlight of the village is the Panorama Springs Hot Pools.  Combine all this with the many après ski activities, Panorama makes the perfect winter holiday for families and friends.
