Why Andermatt

  • Andermatt is one of the most ski sure resorts in Switzerland because of the high altitude runs.  Known for dry powder, as the slopes are mostly northern facing.
  • The top peak, has lots of off piste runs that travel around the back of Gemsstock, called The Guspis. Snow depending, these runs are open until May as the sun shines on it at a different angle.  Before February it’s rather icy.
  • Andermatt was the setting of one of the most iconic car chases in film history.  Sean Connery’s 007 in hot pursuit of Auric Goldfinger in the 1959 James Bond classic.
