Probably the best known resort in Alta Badia, Corvara is situated in an extensive, sunny valley at the foot of the Sassongher massif.  The historic village of Corvara is where Italy’s first chair lift was built in 1947 and where you can ski the SellaRonda circuit, 40 kilometres of runs which you can do in just one day without ever having to take your skis off or riding the same slope twice.  A charming and unique ski holiday destination with a wide range hotels long and proud tradition of ski tourism.  There are countless enticing restaurants, relaxed bars, patisseries, tearooms and chocolate shops, all of them very popular and well patronised.
