Grindelwald

Covering an area of 824 square kilometres, the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO-World Heritage Site contains nearly all of the Bernese High Alps, with their monumental rock massifs, in the Cantons of Berne and Valais.  Experienced hikers can partake in a guided tour over the glacier Aletsch.  In two days you walk across the longest glacier in the Alps and will be fascinated by the dimensions of the surrounding mountains.  There are several ways to spend your après in Grindelwald, with Avocado Bar being just one.  The relaxed environment is perfect for soaking up sun on the terrace while enjoying beautiful views of the mountains.
