Verbier

Verbier is a fantastic ski resort situated in the French speaking Valais region, only a two and a half hour transfer from Geneva airport.  Verbier has carefully maintained it’s charm as an alpine village with an array of chalet style buildings and everything is accessible by a short walk.  This is the gateway to the Four Vallées ski area – with nearly 100 lifts and more than 400 kilometres of ski runs for all levels of expertise at your feet.  The village has lively après ski, excellent local and international restaurants and is packed with bars and clubs, leaving no shortage of evening nightlife.  Besides the world class skiing, Verbier offers a variety of activities for the non skiers and you can make it as action-packed or as relaxed as you like.  Go snow shoeing, paragliding, ice climbing or visit one of the museums or galleries.  If you are in Verbier in mid-March, you can catch the most famous Verbier event, the Nissan Xtreme Verbier by Swatch.  The final of a season of competitions all over the world to crown the top ski and snowboard freeriders.
