Tomamu

Tomamu is a modern high class resort located in central Hokkaido ensuring the abundance of snow they receive is light and dry.  There are a good mix of runs but the controlled “off piste” is exceptional and once this is all tracked then there is always the cat skiing.  The base area is filled with snow activities such as snowmobiling, snow rafting, cross country skiing, paraskiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding.  The highlight is the illuminated Ice Village, a collection of domes constructed entirely of snow and ice.  Or if you want a break from the snow then Mina Mina beach offers one of Japan’s largest indoor wave pools!  There are plenty of restaurants throughout the small resort many sampling the fresh local Hokkaido produce.
