USA - Powder Paradise in the Rockies
Resorts in The Rockies have seen some of the best early conditions for the season with Jackson Hole’s legendary terrain seeing a remarkable snow accumulation, with a current snow base of over 90 cm, thanks to the 125” season snowfall total. Conditions are also solid across Colorado resorts – Aspen, Vail and Telluride; and Utah is also enjoying a great start to the season with more and more trails opening up across their resorts by the day.

Canada - The Great White North
Banff & Lake Louise are enjoying the best early season conditions in Canada with bases already reaching over the 1 metre mark after recent snowfalls. Fernie is also making the most of the early season storms with the majority of their runs alredy opened by mid December.

Japan - or Japow!
Venturing over to Japan, Niseko’s early-season snowfall has surpassed expectations, leaving them with a current snow depth of an impressive 1.7 metres.
The main resorts of Hakuba Valley, set in the heart of the Japanese Alps, are all also boasting snow depths surpassing 1 metre with more steady snowfalls predicted.

Europe - Alpine bliss & Apres Ski
After some big early snowfalls in late November and early December, there are already healthy base depths at many resorts across Europe this season. In France, all the big resorts are open and Chamonix has a base depth of 2.3 metres. In Italy, Val Gardena has 95% of its slopes open – over 170km in trails. In Switzerland, snow build-up from November storms provided a strong kick off to the season and has carried the resorts through some warmer December weather. St Moritz has a current snow base of 1.5m
