Val Thorens is the highest snow resort in Europe with the village situated at 2,300m and with the magnificent setting of Mont Blanc as its backdrop.  Being part of the Trois Vallees (Three Valleys ski area) the riding is vast and varied.  Situated in a vast natural cirque overlooked by six glaciers, the Val Thorens ski area offers doorstep skiing with a multitude of itineraries so you can ski in the sunshine all day long.  The standard of accommodation is excellent in Val Thorens and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops.
