St Moritz is located in the Engadin valley, a chic and cosmopolitan ski resort that boasts an abundance of sunshine each year and offers powder underfoot the whole day long! The village has been well-known for many years as a health resort and as host to a calendar of fabulous international events such as the White Turf Racing on the frozen lake and the Cartier Polo World Cup. There are plenty of accommodation options to choose from in either St Moritz or St Moritz Bad, which has its own cable car to access the ski area and is a five minute shuttle ride from the main village. The region can claim 350 kilometres of runs with 60 lifts over four mountains making this suitable for all skiers and snowboarders. With a high altitude of between 1800 and 3303 metres above sea level, snow at St Moritz is very reliable.
