Kitzbühel

At an altitude of 800 metres, lies the famous snow resort Kitzbühel. With a rich history of winter sport, the resort hosts the legendary Hahnenkamm Men’s downhill competition each January. This elegant town with its colourful, medieval buildings and its pedestrian-zoned cobbled streets is filled with stylish accommodation, boutique shops, wonderful bars and restaurants and friendly après ski. With more than 50 lifts providing access up to 2000 metres, there are around 179 kilometres of ski runs to explore. The terrain will mainly appeal to beginners and intermediates but advanced skiers and boarders will also find plenty of challenging runs. Free ski buses run throughout the town.
