Saas-Fee is a picture-perfect, car-free village set at 1,800 metres in the Swiss Alps and surrounded by more than a dozen peaks over 4,000 metres. With skiing up to a lofty 3,600 metres and an average annual snowfall of around 5.5 metres, it offers reliable winter conditions across 100 kilometres of groomed pistes, including glacial runs and long descents ideal for intermediates and advanced skiers. Families are well catered for with excellent ski schools, gentle learning areas and off-slope activities like tobogganing and snowshoe trails. The après scene is relaxed and welcoming, with rustic bars, live music venues and Europe’s highest revolving restaurant.
