Snowbird & Alta
Snowbird
At the junction of adventure, architecture, and après, you’ll find Snowbird. A sprawling resort served by an impressive array of high-speed chairs and Utah’s only aerial tram, Snowbird is a playground for those who like it fast, steep, and deep. Skiing at Snowbird is thrilling. Stepping into your first tram is a legendary moment. The 125 capacity tram drops you off atop Hidden Peak at 3300 metres above sea level, and atop a jaw-dropping panorama of high alpine wonder.
Alta
Open since 1938, Alta is one of the oldest ski areas in the US, attracting skiers of all abilities to experience its incredible snow – which averages almost 14 metres per season. While known for its steep and challenging terrain, one of the area’s best kept secret is the easily accessible beginner area in the Albion Basin. There are also wide-open bowls created by glacier activity that are perfect for intermediate skiers. One of only three ski areas in the US that don’t allow snowboarding, Alta is a skier’s only mountain.

Why Snowbird & Alta
Fantastic dry powder snow due the mountains location in Utah where desert meets lakes.
Some great challenging terrain for the advanced skiers.
