Aspen

Aspen

Aspen is consistently rated one of the world’s top snow destinations, known for both its great skiing and snowboarding, along with the rich and vibrant history of the town. Originally a mining town, Aspen began attracting recreational skiers after the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Comprised of four mountains – Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass, all accessible on the one lift pass, Aspen is one of the largest combined ski areas in North America. The four ski areas, the town of Aspen and Snowmass Village are connected by a convenient and free shuttle, running from 6:15am until 2:15am. The skiing and snowboarding is world-class and varied, suiting any level as each mountain has its own individual offerings and character. When the day is done head to Ajax Tavern, the iconic après ski spot at the base of the Silver Queen Gondola. The Victorian style of this town will charm you with hundreds of shops to choose from. These range from souvenir shops to designer boutiques and stunning art galleries. People flock from around the world to enjoy the famous après ski bars or dine in world class restaurants, as well as experience high profile events such as the Winter X Games which take place at the end of January each year. Aspen is truly a world class resort, offering something for everyone.

Snowmass Village offers a huge range of hotels and apartments, most of which are ski-in/ski-out, and with many wonderful family options. For more information and accommodation options Click here
