Big Sky

Big Sky

Home to the Biggest Skiing in America, Big Sky spreads over four mountains, with more than 5800 acres of fantastic skiing.  Lone Peak dominates the breathtaking scenery of the resort and the Lone Peak Tram takes you to the top of this mountain where the views of the ski area and the Montana region are incredible.  The terrain accessed from the top of Lone Peak is not for the faint hearted, all are either double black or black runs.  The cruising blues are plentiful and seem endless with hardly a soul to be seen.  New for next season is the ergonomically designed “Ramcharger 8” high speed 8 person heated chairlift, which will be the most technologically advanced lift ever built, and the first of its kind.  You will enjoy the exceptional accommodation located in the mountain village; many are ski-in/ski-out.  There is a good range of dining options from the casual pizza restaurants and a lively grill, to a backcountry moonlight dinner.  With an average snowfall in excess of ten metres, Big Sky makes for a great snow holiday resort.
