With quick access to their three boutique, luxury lodges from Terrace airport (a short 1.5 hour flight from Vancouver), Northern Escape is easily British Columbia’s most accessible heli ski and heli boarding operator. From the lodge, small groups of just five or six skiers and riders are transported using the fastest and most agile machine in the business – the Italian-made Agusta Koala helicopter. And as a back-up, they are one of the only operations to have snowcats at the ready, so you’re able to ski and ride even on storm days when the helicopters can’t fly.
